Material Donations in Louisville

Many of our projects, workshops, and events are made possible through generous material donations from our community.

Your support helps us:

• Keep art and crafting affordable for everyone
• Offer a wide variety of materials and tools
• Give gently used items a second life
• Reduce landfill waste and protect our environment
• Conserve natural resources by limiting new production

Take a look in your closets, attics, or under the bed—those unused supplies could help fuel creativity in our community. Below you’ll find donation guidelines and a list of accepted and unaccepted items. If you’re unsure about something, please reach out by phone or email.

Thank you for helping us keep creativity accessible and sustainable!

HOW to Donate

To help us save time and stay organized, please follow these guidelines when donating:

  • Review the list of accepted and unaccepted items below.

  • Place small or tangle-prone items in bags.

  • Bring everything in a bag or box that can be left with us.

For ONE bag or box: You’re welcome to drop off during regular business hours.

For MULTIPLE bags or boxes: Please call or email us to schedule a drop-off time. While we truly appreciate your generosity, we want to ensure a team member is available to receive your donation.

Please don’t leave donations outside the shop. While we love surprises, our neighbors (and the weather) do not. Items left outdoors often become landfill-bound, and we only have one trash can—no magical disappearing powers here. To keep donations useful and friendships intact, please drop items off during open hours or contact us to make arrangements. Thanks for helping us stay on everyone’s good side!

Materials for SALE!!

When we receive more materials than we can use, select items are made available for resale at pennies on the dollar. Although not all materials in the shop are for purchase, a designated retail area helps offset operating costs and allows us to continue offering affordable classes.
